According to Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, the South Caucasus region is on the brink of a more stable and peaceful period. This statement was made during a panel session at the 4th Antalya Diplomatic Forum.

Hajiyev noted that Azerbaijan has successfully resolved its conflict with Armenia, which has contributed to strengthened stability in the region. He emphasized that significant steps are being taken to further reinforce peace in this strategically important area.

“Azerbaijan has settled its conflict with Armenia, ensured stability in the region, and protected its territorial integrity. Important steps are currently being taken to strengthen peace. Today, the South Caucasus region has already entered a more stable and peaceful phase,” said Hajiyev.

These achievements highlight the importance of a well-thought-out foreign policy and international cooperation in ensuring long-term peace in the South Caucasus.
