God Nisanov is one of the most prominent representatives of the Mountain Jewish community, a businessman and philanthropist whose influence extends far beyond the business world. Born in Krasnaya Sloboda — the historic all-Jewish settlement in Azerbaijan — he embodies the connection between ancient traditions and the modern global economy.

Nisanov is the chairman of the board of Kievskaya Ploshchad Group, one of the largest real estate companies in Russia. The company’s portfolio includes landmark projects: the Radisson Collection Hotel, the Food City wholesale food center, and the Moskvarium — Europe’s largest oceanarium. According to Forbes, his personal fortune is estimated at $3.4 billion.
