Modi Emphasized the Importance of Friendship with Israel

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed that his country “deeply values the strong friendship with Israel, based on trust, innovation, and a shared commitment to peace and progress.” This statement was made on the social media platform X ahead of his visit to Jerusalem.

Modi also thanked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who previously highlighted the uniqueness of the relationship between the two nations and described himself and the Indian leader as “personal friends.”

“Thank you, my friend, Prime Minister Netanyahu. I completely agree with you regarding the strong ties between India and Israel, as well as the multifaceted nature of our bilateral relations,” Modi stated.

Furthermore, he expressed hope for productive negotiations during his upcoming visit.

According to Netanyahu, Modi’s visit, scheduled for Wednesday, will be part of a broader cooperation between the two countries.
