The Israel Defense Forces, known as IDF, have launched a comprehensive operation targeting the infrastructure of the Iranian government in Tehran. This was reported by the military’s press service.

The statement notes:

“The IDF has commenced a large-scale series of strikes on the infrastructure of the Iranian regime in Tehran.”

As a result of this operation, multiple explosions have occurred in various parts of the Iranian capital.

According to information from the Al Hadath channel, strikes were carried out, including in the area where the buildings of the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic are located. Iranian air defense systems are reportedly actively responding to targets in the northern, eastern, and central parts of Tehran.

At least five explosions have been recorded in the Sorkheh Hesar area, which is home to a national park. A significant explosion also took place in the Nobonyad neighborhood, where the complex of buildings of Iran’s Ministry of Defense is situated.

Currently, there is no information on the consequences of these attacks, including potential damage and casualties resulting from the assault on the city.
