Iranian authorities have denied reports of a supposed evacuation from the city of Natanz, which houses an important nuclear facility. The statement was made by the Tasnim agency.

The Iranian prosecutor’s office and the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) noted that the circulating evacuation rumors are part of an intensified propaganda campaign by the country’s adversaries. In particular, it was stated that no evacuation is taking place. “The prosecutor’s office and the IRGC of Natanz officially refute this information,” the statement emphasizes.

It is worth mentioning that on March 21, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) reported that the Israeli and U.S. military had struck the uranium enrichment complex named after martyr Ahmad Roushan in Natanz. Iran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) about the attack on the nuclear facility.

In response, representatives of the Israel Defense Forces stated that they were not involved in this attack and had not conducted any operations in the area. The IDF also added that they do not comment on U.S. actions given the current situation.
