In 2025, Azerbaijani arms carrier made about 60 flights to Israel

According to information provided by global media, the Azerbaijani company Silk Way completed at least 57 flights to Israel and back during 2025.

Of this number, approximately 43 flights were directed to Ramon Airport, located 18 km from Eilat, 6 flights landed at Ovda airfield, and 8 flights were made to Tel Aviv.

In the past, all cargo flights carrying arms primarily used the route to Ovda, as this airport had permission to handle explosive materials. However, since the beginning of this year, it is likely that the route has changed to Ramon, which is also situated in a desert area. On one hand, it cannot be stated with certainty that all flights were related to the transportation of arms or military goods. On the other hand, there is a high probability that Azerbaijan transferred some munitions to Israel during the conflict in Gaza.
