The Israel Defense Forces announced the launch of a new military campaign aimed at striking Hezbollah’s infrastructure in various regions of Lebanon. This operation, dubbed “Eternal Darkness” (“Hoshech Netzchi”), has been characterized as extensive but focused on precision strikes.

According to information from sources, the operation has been in development for the past several weeks and is not linked to Iranian strategy. The implementation of this program is a response to the current operational situation, and Israeli military forces did not wait for a ceasefire with Iran to commence attacks.

IDF representatives also expressed the view that hostilities against Iran could resume soon, indicating the need for active Israeli Air Force operations in this direction.
