In Jerusalem, thousands of Muslim worshippers gathered at the walls of the Old City to participate in mass prayers in celebration of Eid al-Fitr. During these events, some attempted to access the Temple Mount to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In several instances, police were compelled to take measures to disperse crowds in order to prevent potential disturbances. Since February 28, following the outbreak of conflict with Iran, restrictions on mass gatherings have been imposed in Israel to ensure the safety of citizens.

As a result, group access to the Temple Mount has remained closed for the past few weeks, creating additional challenges for the faithful who seek to fulfill their religious obligations.
