In recent days, soldiers of the 36th Armored Division “Gaash” have begun conducting targeted ground operations in a new area in southern Lebanon, aiming to reinforce forward defense positions. In collaboration with the 91st Division, they continue to strengthen defensive lines to eliminate threats and enhance safety for residents in northern regions of Israel.

Before deploying ground units, the IDF struck numerous terrorist targets in the area using artillery and aerial capabilities of the Air Force. An official statement from the Israel Defense Forces emphasizes that Israel is taking decisive action against the terrorist organization “Hezbollah”, which has chosen to engage in military operations and operates under the protection of the terrorist regime of Iran.

The IDF underscores that it will not allow any threats to the citizens of the State of Israel.
