Amid the worsening situation in the Middle East, major tech corporations have decided to temporarily close their offices and transition employees to remote work. This has been reported in the news.

Companies like Google, Amazon, Nvidia, and Snap have suspended operations at their offices in the United Arab Emirates and other countries in the region. Employees have been advised to carry out their duties from home and to follow the guidance of local authorities.

According to reports, Google‘s cloud division held a corporate conference in the UAE at the end of February. Most participants left the country after the event, but several dozen employees remained in Dubai and faced difficulties in departing due to the imposed restrictions.

In light of the escalating conflict, Apple also closed its corporate offices and five retail stores in the UAE as of February 28. Some Chinese companies involved in the development of drone transportation technologies have also halted their operational activities in the region.
