Iran sees no grounds for negotiations with the United States, as trust in the American side is lacking. Mohammad Moghber, the deputy of the former Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, expressed this position in an interview with local television.

According to Moghber, Iran will not engage in dialogue with the US due to a lack of trust in the Americans. He also recalled the Iran-Iraq war, which lasted from 1980 to 1988, claiming that Iran is capable of continuing its resistance for as long as necessary.

Moghber emphasized that since the Islamic Revolution, the US and Israel have aimed to destabilize Iran. “The Americans do not simply want to seize Iran; they seek its dismemberment,” added Khamenei’s deputy.
