Lebanese state media report that Israeli forces IDF have entered the town of Khiam, located about six kilometers from the border with Lebanon. The report notes that the town is under constant artillery fire as the Israeli army continues its offensive.

In response to the situation, IDF stated that the decision to redeploy troops into southern Lebanon is driven by the need to strengthen defensive positions in light of attacks from the terrorist group “Hezbollah”.
