The aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), operating flights J2-011 from Baku to Dubai and J2-1091 from Baku to Jeddah, were forced to return to the capital of Azerbaijan due to the closure of Iranian airspace.
According to the press service of AZAL, the plane heading to Dubai successfully landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 10:47 local time. The flight from Jeddah is also expected to land in Baku soon.
The airline emphasized that they continue to closely monitor the situation in the Middle East and are taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of their passengers. Customers will be promptly informed of any changes to the flight schedule.
